On Sunday at Roland Garros, No. 4-seed Rafael Nadal faces off against No. 3-seed Stan Wawrinka for the 2017 French Open title. Nadal is looking to win the French Open for the 10th time, while 2015 French Open champion Stan Wawrinka in aiming for his fourth career Grand Slam title and second at Roland Garros. Nadal owns a 15-3 record against Wawrinka, but the Swiss won their only meeting in a Grand Slam final, at the 2014 Australian Open.

Looking for a live stream of the 2017 French Open final between Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka on Sunday? There are a couple of different ways to watch, depending on whether or not you have a cable subscription.

The match is scheduled to start around 9 a.m. ET (It starts after the women’s doubles final, which begins at 5:30 a.m. ET, but can’t start anytime before 9 a.m. ET) and will be broadcast in the United States on NBC. If you can’t get to a TV, here’s a rundown of your streaming options:

He was very aggressive, and he never really let me install my game. And that is really what I struggled with and what I found so frustrating. Today I think he’s less confident. He played a bit less fast. He was a little more hesitant, and that gave me a bit more time.”

What’s the head to head?

Nadal boasts a 15-3 head-to-head record against Wawrinka, and his record on clay against the Swiss is 5-1

However, Wawrinka has a reputation as a big-match player and is three for three in Grand Slam finals, including a win over Nadal at the Australian in 2014. A different proposition lies ahead on clay, however

However, he will also have to contend with the wind and rain after inclement conditions on Tuesday forced authorities to postpone their match until Wednesday.

The Spaniard has dropped just 20 games on his route to the last eight and is odds-on favourite to complete ‘La Decima’ by adding his 10th Roland Garros title.

Carreno Busta is the lowest seeded player remaining the men’s draw, having coming into the competition ranked 21st in the world, and has never reached this stage of any major before.

And in his three previous meetings with Nadal, he has won just one set and that came on the hard courts of Doha – both of their clay-court encounters have been straight-set affairs.

Rafael Nadal v Pablo Carreno Busta: French Open latest updates

5.10pm: Oh dear. Well on the positive side of things, we don’t have to wait around all afternoon for Nadal.

The two Spaniards have been sent home for the day with more rain forecast this evening.

French Open authorities are still hopeful of completing the two women’s quarter-finals but the men will have to wait until tomorrow. See you then!

4.55pm: The sun is out but apparently there is more rain imminent so the pleasant conditions are just temporary.

They have again pushed the ‘no play before’ time to 5.30pm and if the rain stays off then they might hit that.

But the local meteorologists reckon there is precipitation in the offing. We’ll see…

4.35pm: Aaaaand it’s not getting any better. I’ve seen hail in some pictures of Roland Garros which would suggest this is a pretty punchy set of showers.

The powers-that-be say no play scheduled before 5pm. I’m not expecting this to be their last update in terms of a later start time, I’m afraid.

3.55pm: Not great news from Roland Garros so far. The covers had come off but now the Parisian weather has turned and it is hosing it down again.

Sit tight but this won’t be a short one I feel. It’s really very moist.

3.10pm: A weather update from Paris. It is windy, rainy, sunny and calm. Often all at the same time. Changeable is perhaps the best way to describe it.

The tennis authorities at Roland Garros say play will not start again before 4.45pm local time – that’s 3.45pm over in the UK

The Round of 16 at the 2017 French Open will conclude with four men’s and four women’s singles matches on Monday. In action will be the highest remaining seeds from both brackets in Andy Murray and Karolina Pliskova.

Monday’s action will begin at 5 a.m. ET and will be broadcast by the Tennis Channel in the United States, as has been the case for most of the play at Roland Garros. That coverage will run throughout the day and into the afternoon.

An online stream of the action will also be available at NBC Sports, via web browsers or the NBC Sports app on connected smart devices.

Murray, the top seed, faces an unseeded opponent in Karen Khachanov for his fourth-round match. Murray is trying to make it to the top eight for the sixth time in seven years. Khachanov is coming off a big win over American John Isner in the previous round.

Pliskova is the second seed for the women, with top seed Angelique Kerber having lost in the first round. Garbine Muguruza, the fourth seed and defending champion, lost on Sunday along with Svetlana Kuznetsova and Venus Williams, who were both top 10 seeds as well.
Pliskova will take on Veronica Cepede Royg. Her top competition for the title in Paris is Simona Halep, the third seed and a popular pick from experts. Halep will have a tough outing against No. 21 Carla Suarez Navarro on Monday.

Stan Wawrinka, the third seed for the men, has a tough outing as well, as he will take on No. 15 Gael Monfils. Also in action on the men’s side, No. 7 Marin Cilic will take on Kevin Anderson and No. 8 Kei Nishikori will face Fernando Verdasco.

Elina Svitolina, the fifth seed for the women, faces the unseeded Petra Martic. Finally, No. 28 Caroline Garcia will face Alize Cornet.

Below is all you need to know to watch the action on Monday as well as the full list of singles matches for both brackets.

Rafael Nadal set up a semifinal against Novak Djokovic after withstanding a tough challenge from David Goffin 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 at the Madrid Open on Friday.

Djokovic, the defending champion, advanced when Kei Nishikori withdrew before their quarterfinal because of a wrist injury.

“It’s going to be a very tough match against one of the best players in tennis history,” Nadal said. “I’ve been playing at a high level during many weeks. I know tomorrow is going to be a day that either I play really well or I’m not going to have many chances.”

Nadal hasn’t beaten Djokovic since the 2014 French Open final, losing their last seven matchups.

“I’m not worried about it,” Nadal said. “There are matches that if you play your good tennis, you have chances. If he plays at a good level, he’s going to win. If we both play well . . . it can go either way.”

On the women’s side, defending champion Simona Halep of Romania cruised past Anastasija Sevastova of Latvia 6-2, 6-3 to reach her third Madrid Open final. The third-seeded Halep, who lost the 2014 final to Maria Sharapova, will play Kristina Mladenovic of France.
